About the job

Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Spa Department, the Spa Concierge will be responsible for booking all spa treatments, explaining services to guests, any POS sales including retail and checking in and checking out all guests in a professional manner. The Spa Concierge reports to the Spa Operation Manager.

As a Spa Concierge, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area always.
• Provide exceptional guest service:
• Welcome guests warmly and courteously.
• Assist with inquiries and property tours.
• Manage appointments and ensure a smooth spa journey.
• Handle front desk operations:
• Print confirmations and prepare guest files.
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and spa retail products.
• Support spa operations across departments, including Front Desk, Retail Area, Relaxation Area, Preparation Room, Sales & Marketing, and Spa Suite.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and telephone etiquette, following MOHG standards.
• Promote spa services and retail products, contributing to achieving sales targets set by the Director of Spa & Wellness.
• Assist with spa demonstrations, events, and marketing activities to enhance guest engagement.
• Implement and monitor Health and Safety and Hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues as team players and perform opening and closing duties as required.

As a Spa Concierge, we expect from you: 

• Previous experience in the same role in luxury property, resort experience is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a diploma or certification in Hospitality, Spa Management, or related field is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and professional demeanor
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
