The beachfront resort is part of the sustainable resort destination of Costa Navarino, a well-established tourism destination which includes 3 other resorts. It comprises of 99 suites and villas, all with outdoor terraces and sea views, along with seven restaurants and bars.
Scope of Position:
The Spa Attendant / Spa Cleaner ensures the cleanliness of different rooms and areas, preparing the facilities, sanitizing tools and equipment, monitoring the inventory of supplies and assisting massage therapists if needed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports Mandarin Oriental’s philosophy and culture, using Guiding Principles and the Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences daily to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
- Assists in the smooth flow of the guest experience throughout their stay.
- Works closely with the Spa Therapist and assists in Treatment room preparations, set up – cleaning.
- Checks daily that stock requirements for a smooth operation are in place.
- Performs as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conducts all duties, responsibilities as required by the Head of Department.
- Keeps work area clean and neat at all times.
- Follows all Standards and Procedures as taught by the Spa Manager.
- Ensures that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the Spa.
- Assists in the operations of all spa departments as required: Front Desk, Spa Retail Area, Relaxation Area, Preparation Room, Fitness Center, Spa Suites, In-room.
- Maintains inventory of supplies for the operations of the spa.
- Has the ability to courteously interact and to answer all spa and hotel related questions to guests.
- Is responsible for the maintaining the cleanliness of the entire Spa, in particular the changing rooms, toilets, showers, relaxation areas, fitness and wellness center, spa suites and pool. These should be kept in a neat, tidy and sanitary manner, in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures and the Health and Safety Standards.
Qualifications / Experience:
- EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
- Greek - English communication skills both written/verbal.
- Self Motivated.
- Must work in a safe, organized manner.
- Committed to local & corporate policies and procedures, as stated by Mandarin Oriental.
