As a Sous Chef in our Colleagues Dining Room, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, focusing on delivering high-quality meals that meet diverse dietary needs. Your role will include menu planning, staff supervision, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
Run the day-to-day operation of the Colleagues Dining Room,.
Assist in creating and preparing menus items and specials.
Place orders weekly for the Colleagues Dining Room,
Check and complete mise en place and pars and set-up the station.
Communicate with the Head Chefs and the Executive Chef regarding menu items, problem situations or shortages.
Work closely with standard recipes and plate presentations in order to maintain standards of quality in production and presentation.
Maintain a good working relationship with other colleagues.
Store items properly at the end of the shift.
Ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
.Qualifications and Requirements:
5-7 years’ experience in the culinary industry.
Experience of the Middle East market preferred.
A confident & dynamic speaker, able to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of an organization.
Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others.
Proven organizational skills, works well on their own. Able to set and meet deadlines with quality results.
