Our Hotel

With 326 guest rooms and 31 suites, Mandarin Oriental, Miami is located in Brickell Key and is a prime location for both business and leisure guests.  It is an urban resort with Miami’s only private beach.

Overview of Position

The La Mar Breakfast Server is responsible for greeting, serving and assisting guests, as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room and all work areas.  Candidate must have extensive food and wine knowledge, excellent guest service skills, as well as excellent communication skills.  TIPs certification and experience in Infogenesis POS is preferred. This is an AM/Breakfast shift.

The La Mar Server will report directly to the La Mar Managers.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Have excellent communication skills with fluency in English require, bilingual preferred.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including morning, afternoon, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation. 
  • Able to work together with other colleagues.
  • Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
  • Able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest.
  • Able to handle guest requests in a detailed manner.
