Senior Sales Manager

Key responsibilities 

  • Sales Strategy Development : Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets across all market segments including corporate, leisure and group sales.
  • Client relationship management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and loyalty. Plan and execute client engagement activities, including site inspections, client entertainment, and hosting events to showcase the hotel’s offerings.
  • Sales calls : Conduct regular sales calls to existing and prospective clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Sales trip : Organize and participate in sales trips to key markets to promote the hotel and establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Market Analysis : Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, understand competitive trends, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Team leadership : Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve personal and departmental goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
  • Contract negotiations : Negotiate contracts with clients to secure profitable business while maintaining the hotel’s brand standards and profitability goals.
  • Event Coordination : Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and special events.
  • Reporting : Prepare and present regular sales reports, including analysis of sales activities, results and forecast.
  • Collaboration : Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales campaigns, and other marketing efforts.
  • Revenue Management : Work closely with the revenue management team to optimize room rates and occupancy.
