SECURITY OFFICER

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Security & Safety Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Security Officer need to maintain the safety and security of hotel guests, colleagues and their properties. The Security Officer reports to the Director of Security, Safety & Health.

As Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Perform daily administration of hotel’s key control programme

  • Effectively enforce hotel’s rule and regulation

  • Perform tasks and duties as assigned by the Director of Security, Safety & Health / Assistant Security Manager and respond to directions given by any EXCO or Duty Manager 

  • Commitment to the standards of the IMS system in Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety and Environmental protection 

As Security Officer, we expect from you

  • Minimum SPM qualification, preferably with credits in English.

  • Having Occupational Safety & Health related qualifications is an added advantage.

  • 2 years working experience in hospitality or tourism related industry

  • Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
