Security Officer

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Security Department in Pylos, Messenia, Greece, the Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of all guests, colleagues and visitors of Mandarin Oriental, and the protection of all hotel assets. The Security Officer reports to the Security Supervisor.

As Security Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conducts property patrols and periodic inspections as per hotel procedures.
• Maintains accurate key control and follows lost and found procedures.
• Monitors safety and security systems, including surveillance cameras.
• Controls entry and exit at the main gate to ensure safety.
• Responds to emergencies as part of the Emergency Response Team.
• Completes incident reports and cooperates with authorities when necessary.

As Security Officer, we expect from you: 

• EU Passport or valid Residence Permit is mandatory in order to work in Greece.
• Valid Greek security personnel work permit.
• Experience in a similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Basic first aid knowledge will be considered a plus.
• Fluency in English and Greek.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
