The Safety & Health is responsible for, but not limited to advice, train, comply and maintained compliance to local Risk/OSH issues and group FLHSS guidelines under the scope of Risk/OSH. *Must be a Greenbook Holder.
The Role of the Safety & Health Officer
Report, investigate incidents, hazards, and review suitability of current control measures. • To guide and support authority or audits visit on sites for OSH matters
Prepare all necessary reports needed for in house meeting and also reports for MOHG
• This position is to ensure MOKUL comply with all local Acts, Regulations & Code of Practice reference to Occupational Safety & Health • This position is to ensure MOKUL comply with FLHSS guideline under the scope of Risk/OSH • To coordinate and perform random audit or inspection on processes and documentations in ensuring effectiveness to local OSH requirements and FLHSS-Risk /OSH requirements and standards. • Ensure effective implementation of the IMS policy and procedures • Ensure continuous training and awareness of the IMS system • Ensure OTPs are monitored and acted upon • Identify areas of improvement through CPAR or suggestions • Ensure operational compliance to legal regulations and other requirements • Identification of new activities that are in relation to EASI and HIRADC
To perform any duties that may be assigned from time to time
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
Post university graduate or minimum SPM qualification, preferably with credits in English and Bahasa Malaysia •Safety & Health Officer Certificate holder is an added advantage
Fluent in English both written and verbal, fluency in other languages is an added advantage.
Strong communication skills and meticulous.
Presentable, outgoing and mature personality.
Must have working rights in Malaysia.
