About the Job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, the Rising FAN F&B Program offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Food & Beverage Management Team and Executive Committee, allowing you to gain valuable experience and insights while preparing for a future role as a Supervisor or Department Manager in Food & Beverage

Throughout the year, you will receive hands-on operational and supervisory training in a minimum of four F&B departments and outlets (restaurant, bar, banquets, room service, F&B administration, back of the house, etc.) where you will be assigned. 


You will also take part in a comprehensive program including seminars, hotel and restaurant visits, and case studies

The objective of this one-year F&B Management Development Program is to help you gain a deep understanding of the different departments and functions within the F&B division. 

To achieve this, you will rotate through several F&B services, gradually taking on more responsibilities. By the end of the program, you will be ready to step into a Supervisor or Manager position within one of the F&B outlets of our hotel or the group. 

As Rising FAN we expect from you: 

  • A passion for Food & Beverage and eager to progress quickly into management roles. 

  • At least one year of experience in Food & Beverage (internships included) and are curious and attentive to new hospitality and F&B trends. 

  • Genuine passion for service, with strong flair and creativity 

  • Fluent in French and English; a third language is an asset 

  • Strong adaptability skills and a keen sense of service and attention to detail 

  • Autonomous and flexible 

  • Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow. 

  • Good communication skills and a flexible attitude. 

  • A valid Swiss work permit or EU passport.
