About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Boston within the Residences department in Boston, Massachusetts, the Residential Manager is responsible for all aspects of the residential operation, including directly supervising all Residences staff, developing relationships with residential owners and ensuring the provision of exceptional service levels for all services and amenities provided. The Residential Manager reports to the Director of Residences.

As Residential Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Overall Residences operation, including the continual enhancement and improvement of operations at the direction of the Director of Residences.
  • Interface with residents, hotel staff, outside vendors, contractors, and others at the direction of the Director as it relates to all residential matters, including securing new high-end net worth accounts.
  • Direct supervision of all Residences colleagues.
  • Building relationships with and providing support to all Residential owners.
  • Other duties as assigned.

As Residential Manager, we expect from you: 

  • At least 2 years of previous experience working or managing a luxury Residential operation with a concentration in mixed use properties.
  • Previous experience directly supervising a team.
  • Preferred college degree with additional or continuing studies with Real Estate or Property Management fields.
  • Strong written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
