THE RESIDENCES
Mandarin Oriental Residences, Fifth Avenue, located at 685 54th Street at the center of New York City’s premier Fifth Avenue retail shopping corridor. The site is a short walking distance from Central Park and world-famous landmarks such as Rockefeller Center, the Museum of Modern Art, and St. Patrick’s cathedral. Featuring 65 spacious apartments, residents will enjoy a luxurious way of life with exquisite interiors, a rooftop pool, fitness and wellness center, and private dining.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
Cover all floors assigned to and ensures that the residential cleanliness standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility.
Maintain the general upkeep of all residential floors and public areas.
Recognize and report all missing, damaged or sub-standard furniture, fixtures and equipment.
Is responsible for all furniture cleaning and moving, wall washing, upholstery upkeep, delivery of any residential requests, shampooing, buffing and spot cleaning, interior window and mirror cleaning and high dusting.
Maintain the cleanliness of residential foyers and public areas and corridors by performing wall washing, vacuuming, dusting of crown moulding, unit doors, service landing doors, millwork, baseboards and cleaning of all light fixtures including ceiling fixtures.
Perform general cleaning as scheduled and assist with Unit cleaning and maintenance when necessary.
Keep emergency stairwells and service landings in order and remove and debris or rubbish in these areas.
Maintain and clean residential elevators and landings.
Maintain safety in Lobby and other common areas through the use of area rugs and “caution” signs.
Maintain trash and compactor rooms
Fulfill any resident request e.g. laundry pick-up, delivery of supplies and any other requests.
Maintain vacuum cleaners and other equipment by changing bags and belts regularly.
Essential
Luxury hotel or condominium experience preferred.
Possess a good written and verbal command of the English Language.
Able to multi-task and remain composed at all times.
Able to work well in a team environment.
Must be professional and possess excellent presentation, communication, organization, and effective time-management skills.
Flexible schedules and hours, and a willingness to work on weekends & holidays is required.
Professional appearance and demeanor in coordination with Mandarin Oriental standards.
