About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the Reservations Department reports to the Director of Reservations.

As Reservations Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Under the supervision of the Reservation Manager, your main mission is to maximize hotel occupancy and room revenue in line with the sales strategy.
• You will handle all reservations in a personalized manner, received through various channels such as phone and email.
• You will ensure follow-up and control of all reservations.
• You will promote the hotel’s various services to guests in order to anticipate their needs.
• You will coordinate with the hotel’s different departments and ensure client profiles (Cardex) are completed and kept up to date.

As Reservations Agent we expect from you:

• You have previous experience in a similar position within the upscale hospitality sector.
• Your interpersonal skills, active listening, and enthusiasm are true assets for this role.
• Fluency in English is required, along with a third language.
• Knowledge of Opera (PMS) is preferred.
