Overview of Position

The Pool Bartender is responsible for, but not limited to, serving and assisting guests in a courteous and efficient manner in the bar environment, consistently mixing and serving beverages according to the set standards of the Beverage department. The Bartender is responsible for maintaining all par levels of equipment and assisting the Pool team with the clearing of all used glassware to ensure a clean and tidy environment in the Pool Bar. Additionally, the Bartender will be able to anticipate guests’ needs, answer any guest questions, and fulfill requests made by guests in regards to the wine list, cocktails, and menu that is served. 

The Bartender reports directly to the Pool Managers.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in the similar position, preferably in a luxury setting.

• Bartending certification is required, with TIPs and ServSafe certification preferred.

• Have excellent communication and organization skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-pace and dynamic operation. 
• Able to work together with other colleagues.
• Have a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner.
• Maintain a clean and healthy personal hygiene and grooming.
• Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
• Able to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Able to consistently delight and satisfy our guest.
• Able to handle guest requests in a detailed manner.
