Job Summary**
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and process payroll for Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park Limited, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payments for all employees.
Job Responsibilities**
* Process end-to-end payroll alongside ADP for all employees, including salaried and hourly staff, ensuring accurate calculation of wages, deductions, and taxes.
* Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, changes in compensation, and benefits deductions.
* Prepare and submit all statutory payroll filings, including PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions, adhering to deadlines.
* Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
* Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, deductions, and tax matters in a professional and timely manner.
* Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes and data.
* Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
* Generate various payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
* Assist with year-end payroll procedures and reporting.
Job Qualifications**
* Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
* In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation, tax regulations, and pension schemes.
* Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, RealTime & IHCM, OnTrack).
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger reconciliation.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
