Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo is looking for the Manager at Oriental Lounge, which is lying just off our main lobby on the 38th floor and forms the nucleus of the hotel. Meet friends or spend time on your own accompanied by stunning city views and a wonderful menu. We offer freshly brewed coffees, fresh fruit juices, cocktails and afternoon tea, as well as a selection of the finest liquors from around the world. Refreshments are available all day including afternoon tea set. Original ceiling lights warm the mood whilst the spectacular city lights glitter through the floor to ceiling glass windows.

Qualification and Experience Required

Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory position, preferably in luxury hotel environment

Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Japanese languages

Highly self motivated and able to motivate others

Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner

Have an in-depth knowledge of food and its preparation

Have a good knowledge of food and beverages

Be able to relate to all levels of guest and management

Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time

Must have excellent attention to details, and extensive service knowledge

Have mathematical skills, computer software aptitude and some hotel operation knowledge.

Ability to recognize guests and remember their pferences

Constantly driving and motivating subordinates by positive attitude.
