Duties and responsibilities:

  • Offer a warm, sincere and personalized interaction to all guests. 

  • Be proactive and anticipate the complete requirements to make the experience a success, acting as a reference when guests ask for assistance during the night.  

  • Ensure safety of all guests and colleagues during the night, acting as leader of the Emergency Response Team and be fully trained for general emergency scenarios. 

  • Be present at the Front Office during the night shift and coordinate the operation in collaboration with other departments. 

  • Be able to regularly perform duties of all functions within the Front Office such as check-in, check-out, credit card payments, walk-in and complaint handling. 

  • Be knowledgeable of all in-house, remaining arrivals and early departures, as well as daily events in the hotel. 

  • Act as a support to the Concierge Team during the night in case of special requests.  

  • Arrange transportations, amenities and package delivery during the night shift. 

  • Communicate all important details and facts happened during the night to management and colleagues. 

  • Maintain a clean, neat and organized desk and back office. 

  • Other activities as deemed appropriate by management. 

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum two-years experience as a Front Desk Agent in a luxury environment, preferably covering Night Shifts.  

  • Able to multi-task also in complex situations, remaining calm and efficient. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Full proficiency in English and Italian; an additional language is preferred.

  • Must be professional and possess excellent standing, organization and effective time-management skills. 

  • Must be able to work with flexible schedules (especially during the night) and working hours and on weekends/holidays.
