Ability to demonstrate marketing skills in driving and optimizing traffic via content marketing platforms – Search marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), and website optimization) while having experience in using social media platforms, tools, and technologies to achieve business objectives, in addition to having the knowledge and expertise to work on and develop digital content with full clarity and understanding of marketing and digital analytical tools.
Responsibilities
Monitor and perform administrative duties such as, but not limited to, departmental scheduling, payroll, purchase requests and monthly budget/expense reports.

Leads and manages the department in accordance with Mandarin Oriental Standards and set hotel objectives
Monitor day to day work and projects are on track and to provide guidance to ensure team colleagues are able to proceed with project tasks efficiently and confidently
Ensures that departmental levels of KPIs are in line with hotel objectives
Always lead by example
Oversees monthly departmental expenses to ensure they are in line with annual budget
Interview and recruit colleagues as per job specifications and form an efficient and motivated team
Motivate, train, supervise, evaluate and discipline Marketing Operations colleagues
Attend managerial meetings if requested and participate actively in achieving productive results
Ensure team leaders are monitoring annual contracts, proactively assessing vendors or suppliers.
Review regularly Standard Operating procedures and update Policies and Procedures in order to guarantee effective and efficient service as per Mandarin Oriental Standards
Conduct daily meetings with Managers and team colleagues to provide information on hotel business overview, upcoming marketing events, check on project status, and provide guidance on projects and issues
Conduct appraisals, disciplinary actions, and performance reviews on a regular basis
Identify colleagues for further development or training needs
Monitor training plans and measurements for training needs
Ensure all audit requirements are met for LQA, MOQA, LQE, QTA and conduct regular self-audits
Customer Focus:
Respond to trade or guest requests and needs professionally, timely and with passion
Handle trade and guest complaints in a polite and highly professional manner
Meet with VIP or top media guests in order to build relationship
Manage and maintain a positive rapport and relationship with agencies, vendors or suppliers
Departmental Duties
To be the guardian and specialist of the Brand Communication Manual and provide guidance and advice on all brand-related matters
Ensure clear understanding of brand guidelines or rules by internal and external stakeholders
Act as brand guardian for the hotel by constant monitoring and enforcing of brand guidelines
Keep up to date with the local and regional advertisement environment, particularly in the hotel, travel, luxury retail, fashion, beauty and luxury lifestyle sector
Monitor and report any advertisement campaigns from competitors
Provide feedback and recommendations on advertisements
Manage the advertisement plan to ensure it is in line with the hotel’s marketing objectives and budget
Ensure each advertisement insertion is brand compliant and culturally sensitive to the market
Assist the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications with the coordination of photo or video shoots
Identify areas for content development and share with Assistant Director of Marketing Communications
Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in content development
Develop systems to manage the request for new branded items
Develop good rapport with photography and videography vendors
Assist the Assistant Director of Marketing Communications with the coordination, planning and implementation of marketing campaigns

Ability to work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
Be creative, energetic and willing to exceed expectations in order to motivate team members and drive team spirit
Motivate and inspire the Marketing Communications team to continuously deliver aspirational content and capture interest from the market

This role involves implementing eco-friendly practices, educating guests/colleagues on sustainable initiatives, and continuously seeking ways to minimize the hotel's environmental footprint.
Knowledge of waste sorting and recycling procedures. Energy Conservation: Water Conservation.

Skills and Qualifications:
Previous working experience as a Marketing Manager for minimum of three (3) years
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, media, or similar relevant field
A proven track record of successful Marketing campaigns
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
