About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the F&B Department, the Chef de Rang is responsible for the following duties:

• Versatile and attentive to detail, you check the proper functioning of the hotel’s various facilities through daily rounds in order to prevent potential incidents: electrical equipment, elevators, air conditioning, heating, plumbing, alarm systems, etc.
• In this context, you carry out preventive maintenance in the guestrooms, public areas, kitchens, restaurants, and meeting rooms, following the schedule established by your Manager/Supervisor.
• In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, you take action by applying the appropriate procedures or repairing the equipment/facilities in accordance with safety rules.
• You ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards and implement quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Attentive, discreet, and service-oriented, you respond to guests’ specific requests.

As Maintenance Technician, we expect from you:

• You have a diploma in Electrotechnics  with 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury hotel.
• You are recognized for your team spirit, flexibility, and autonomy.
• You are familiar with the hotel’s products, competitors, standards, and services, as well as the various technical fields within a hotel: heating, air conditioning, electricity, plumbing, telephony, office equipment, security, etc.
  Reactive, curious, and committed to your work, you are able to adapt to technical developments and new equipment.
  Methodical and organized, you can analyze situations, make decisions, and act quickly in the event of a technical issue.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
