Communicates with supervisor on all pertinent matters affecting the recreation reception administration and the operation;
Be responsible for ensuring that the reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times and bring to the attention of the supervisor any poor conditions or breakages;
Attend daily briefing with Spa & Leisure Manager, Spa & Leisure Operations Manager and other recreation colleagues;
Interacts with guests, members and colleagues to promote and administer the appropriate structured use of the recreation area;
Oversee all reservations, payment and tracking procedures, established for the pool, beach and including other recreation facilities as required;
Assist in ordering items through SCM purchasing system;
Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of guests and members;
Create a warm welcome and promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for all guests using the facilities;
Executes all reception duties associated in the recreation including, but not limited to the booking system, collection of money, assisting with all forms of guest and member enquiries and membership requirements both in person, by phone and in writing;
In association with the on duty supervisor prepares on a daily basis all necessary timetables, activities programs and information sheets for recreation guests and staff;
Responsible for upselling, promoting, taking booking for pool & beach day pass, Sport & activity, membership, kids club activities, kids camp, fitness activities, water sports, beach cabanas, retail items and fully responsible of handling beach club boutique to increase the revenue;
Responsible for recreation department administration work which includes staff payroll, inventories, keeping membership records, full staff related information;
As and when required supports other recreation staff to deliver guest and member services which you have been trained and proven competent in delivering;
Periodically check on the cleanliness and order of the locker and the changing rooms west & east facilities, ensure all lockers related records are logged in the book provided by the hotel;
Manage customer feedback effectively to ensure issues or compliments are escalated to enable long-term improvements in products and services;
Attend all the training programs conducted & requested by hotel management or department trainer;
Attend weekly/monthly department communication meetings;
Assist in kids’ club or kids’ camp operation as requested by duty supervisor;
Adhere to cash handling procedures & reconcile and balance the cash report and remittance envelop at the end of the shift;
Report accidents, maintenance issues (HOTSOS), or other incidents;
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations;
Interact and communicate effectively with clients, members, team members, guests, and management team;
Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by Beach & Pool Supervisor, Senior Operation supervisors or Manager.
Skills & Requirements
Diploma or certificate in Hospitality Management will be a plus
Previous front of house work in a 5* hospitality environment;
Previous experience of working in a similar guest -focused role, especially in a recreation environment;
Good guest contact skills;
Computer & administrative skills;

Good grooming standards;
Telephone skills;
