About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the People & Culture Department in Dubai, the Learning & Development Executive is responsible for facilitating all new hire training, coordinating and supporting the development and delivery of effective L&D programmes and initiatives, supporting quality assurance activities, upholding and promoting our company’s values and standards. You will work closely with department trainers and support the People & Culture team’s initiatives to elevate and enhance the colleague experience. Learning & Development Executive reports to Learning & Development Director.
As a Learning & Development Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Develop & Implement L&D Plan: Support the creation, execution, and review of the hotel’s L&D initiatives in line with business priorities.
Promote Learning Culture: Act as an L&D ambassador to foster a culture of continuous learning and development opportunities.
Coordinate & Deliver Trainings: Organise, execute, and track all training activities, including guest service and orientation programs.
Manage Learning Resources: Maintain the L&D calendar, oversee training nominations, and ensure access to learning materials.
Ensure Compliance & Quality: Facilitate customer service training, conduct product knowledge tests, and support internal audits.
Support & Recognize Employees: Develop departmental trainers, manage colleague recognition programs, and contribute to L&D meetings.
