Duties and responsibilities:

  • Motivate, train and supervise all L˜ARIA Outlet colleagues 

  • Ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Lake Como’s Legendary Quality Standards, policies and procedures are properly understood and followed by its team 

  • Ensure that the outlet operates efficiently and profitably while maintaining standards in terms of food, service, health & safety and reputation 

  • Conduct all the outlet’s staff Identify and carry out any specific training and development needed among the team 

  • Ensure that the outlet’s team has a good knowledge of food and beverage and delivers it to the guests 

  • Ensure that the outlet’s grooming and hygiene standards are always met 

  • Deal with guests’ complaints according to MO standards 

  • Take special care of VIP guests 

  • Ensure that tables are arranged and set up according to MO standards and policies 

  • Ensure that service stations are correctly arranged and set-up 

  • Ensure that all staff members are familiar with the correct billing procedures 

  • Perform every other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by management 

  

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-years experience in a F&B Management position within a luxury hotel/restaurant  

  • Proficiency in Italian and English 

  • The knowledge of a third language is a plus 

  • A Tourism or Hospitality degree 

  • In-depth knowledge of food, wine and beverages 

  • International work experiences 

  • Excellent attention to details and guest service attitude 

  • Charming and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills 

  • Multitasking and teamworking excellent skills 

  • Good IT skills 

  • Flexible schedules and working hours plus the willingness to work on weekends and holidays
