About the Job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, within our two restaurants: SACHI and Ottolenghi, Sommelier Juniorthe management of the wine cellar for Ottolenghi, as well as for the beverage service. Sommelier Junior reports directly to the Chef Sommelier.  

Sommelier Junior, you will be responsible for:  

  • Manage wine cellar stocks and daily wine selection 

  • Oversee beverage sales control and inventory 

  • Advise guests on wine pairings and beverage choices 

  • Deliver high-quality, efficient, and personalized wine service 

  • Contribute to upselling and beverage revenue growth 

  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers 

  • Ensure accurate billing and stock control 

  • Participate in monthly inventories with Cost Control
