The Role

Mandarin Oriental, Makati is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Auditor to join our pre-opening finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of all hotel revenue streams from day one of operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in establishing strong financial controls and supporting the hotel’s commitment to excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Verify, audit, and reconcile all daily revenue reports across departments (Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, and other outlets)
  • Ensure all revenues are properly recorded in the hotel’s systems in accordance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Conduct daily income audits, including reviewing guest folios, POS transactions, and supporting documentation
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances, and irregularities in revenue reporting
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly audit reports for management review
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit procedures, and brand standards
  • Work closely with Front Office, F&B, and other operational departments to ensure accurate revenue capture
  • Support the Chief Accountant in establishing audit processes and controls during the pre-opening phase
  • Assist with internal and external audits as required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in income auditing or general accounting within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong understanding of hotel systems (e.g., PMS, POS) and revenue auditing processes
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced pre-opening environment

Credit Manager

Mandarin Oriental, Manila Finance & Accounting
The Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s credit policies, credit risk assessment, and collections process, ensuring effective control of accounts receivable while supporting revenue growth. As a key member of the pre‑opening team, this role will establish credit procedures, systems, and internal controls in line with Mandarin Oriental policies and luxury hospitality best practices. The Credit Manager works closely with Sales, Front Office, and Finance to balance commercial flexibility with prudent financial risk management.

Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant is responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining the hotel’s accounting operations during the pre opening phase of Mandarin Oriental Makati and ensuring a smooth transition into full operations post opening. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the role ensures the integrity of the hotel’s financial records, accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and full compliance with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group (MOHG) Policies & Procedures, USALI, and Philippine statutory requirements. The Chief Accountant plays a hands on and detail driven role, particularly critical during pre opening, supporting system implementation, balance sheet readiness, audit preparation, and the training of accounting colleagues.

Accounts Receivable Clerk

The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate processing, recording, and reconciliation of all receivables for the hotel. As part of the pre-opening finance team, the role plays a critical part in establishing accounts receivable procedures, credit controls, and billing systems in accordance with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, start-up hospitality environment.
