Über die Position

Als Income Auditor im Mandarin Oriental, Vienna bist du Teil des Finance Teams und für verschiedene Aufgaben verantwortlich. Du berichtest an unseren Finance Manager.

Als Income Auditor bist du für folgende Aufgaben verantwortlich:

• Einhaltung und Verständnis der MOHG- und Hotelrichtlinien sowie des Verhaltenskodex
• Sammlung, Überprüfung und Sicherstellung der Genauigkeit von Einnahmenunterlagen und deren Übereinstimmung mit den Richtlinien
• Abteilungsübergreifendes Controlling aller umsatzrelevanten Transaktionen und Übereinstimmung mit MOHG policies & procedures
• Erfassung, Aufzeichnung und Verbuchung aller Einnahmen sowie Überwachung interner Belastungen
• Kontrolle von Gutschriften, Stornierungen und kostenlosen Buchungen und Meldung von Abweichungen
• Überprüfung von Reisebüroprovisionen und Kontrolle von manuellen Buchungen
• Abstimmung der Einnahmen mit den jeweiligen Konten (Gast-, Stadt- und Depositkonto)
• Meldung und Überwachung von verdächtigen oder fehlerhaften Buchungen
• Durchführung täglicher Stichprobenkontrollen und regelmäßige Überprüfung verschiedener Bereiche
• Sicherstellung der Richtigkeit aller Zahlungsmethoden und vollständiger Buchungen
• Unterstützung in anderen Bereichen der Buchhaltung und Übernahme zusätzlicher Aufgaben nach Anweisung des Managements
• Kommunikation bei Unstimmigkeiten in Rechnungen oder anderen Problemen

About the role

As Income Auditor at Mandarin Oriental, Vienna, you will be part of the Finance team and report directly to our Finance Manager.

As an Income Auditor, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Compliance with and understanding of MOHG and hotel policies, as well as the code of conduct
• Collection, review, and ensuring the accuracy of revenue documentation and its compliance with policies
• Cross-departmental controlling of all revenue-related transactions and alignment with MOHG policies and procedures
• Recording, logging, and posting all revenues, as well as monitoring internal charges
• Checking credits, voids, and complimentary postings, and reporting discrepancies
• Reviewing travel agency commissions and checking for manual postings
• Reconciling revenue with the respective accounts (Guest Ledger, City Ledger, and Deposit Ledger)
• Reporting and monitoring suspicious or erroneous postings
• Performing daily spot checks and regular reviews of various areas
• Ensuring the accuracy of all payment methods and completeness of postings
• Supporting other areas of accounting and taking on additional tasks as directed by management
• Communicating discrepancies in invoices or other issues
