About the job 

Based at Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, the Housekeeping Intern will support the hotel’s Housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort for guests. This role ensures that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet the highest standards of hygiene and presentation. The intern reports to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and works closely with Housekeeping team.

As Housekeeping Intern, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Room & Public Area Support

• Assist in inspecting guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
• Support in replenishing amenities and supplies.
• Help coordinate laundry and linen operations.

Administration

• Record and update housekeeping checklists and reports.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
• Support scheduling and documentation for housekeeping staff.

Event & Special Projects

• Assist in preparing logistics for VIP arrivals or special events.

Additional Responsibilities

• Perform other tasks as required to support the Housekeeping department.

As Housekeeping Intern, we expect from you:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Strong interest in hotel operations and guest service excellence.
• Good command of English and strong organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work collaboratively.
