Duties and Supporting Responsibilities

  • To consistently achieve the service and product delivery standards with a high degree of client care and service at all times.
  • To demonstrate a pride in workplace and a high level of commitment.
  • Support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars and Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission Statement.
  • To ensure that the Fire Life Health Safety and Security company standards and HACCP Standards are maintained and carried out. They must be monitored regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the MOHG health and safety audit.
  • Provide excellent service at all time to all of our guests
  • Assist guests courteously and efficiently
  • Set up tables as per the standard
  • To collect and updating Guests’ database
  • Assist in training
  • Organization of team-building activities
  • Administrative duties including daily report, competition check, ordering of office supplies
  • To suggest and correctly take customer food and beverage order with up selling technique
  • Enter all sales in POS without errors. Double check list of items before “sending”.
  • Communicate with Kitchen for any guests’ special request and dietary requirements
  • To prepare the pantry and side station assigned with sufficient Mise en Place
  • To maintain the back of the house neat, tidy, clean and safe
  • Make sure that all product served are accounted for on the final bill before presenting it
  • Responsible for cash float and cashiering
  • To prepare and maintain Buffet Tag
  • Continuously monitor his/her section for maximum guest’s satisfaction
  • Set up tables according to reservation
  • To deliver the correct order to the table
  • To carry out daily, weekly and monthly inventory
  • Clear tables between courses throughout the meal
  • To wish each and every guest a warm farewell and thank them for coming
  • To fully inform and aware about all information connecting to Food and Beverage outlets and Mandarin Oriental Macau/Group generally
  • To have role of good Brand ambassador
  • To maintain all Hotel’s assets
