About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris within the Front Office Department, the Front Desk Agent is in charge of welcoming guest in hotel.

As Guest Service Center Agent, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Handle internal and external phone calls, and respond to email inquiries.

  • Manage guest requests via software or phone; redirect to relevant departments if necessary.

  • Take restaurant reservations and process prepayments; sell and manage special event payments (e.g. New Year’s Dinner, Easter Eggs, Christmas Yule Log).

  • Provide general information about the hotel and assist guests at the business center, including billing for admin services.

  • Update guest profiles and team information materials regularly.

  • Uphold the Mandarin Oriental Group values and maintain Forbes and LQA service standards.

  • Act as an ambassador for Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Rive Gauche, promoting their spirit throughout the hotel.

As Guest Service Center Agent, we expect from you:

  • Your interpersonal skills, active listening, and enthusiasm are true assets for this role.
  • Fluency in English and French is required, along with a third language.
  • A previous significant experience as a front desk agent is preferred.
