Together with the Director of Sales & Marketing, to implement agreed rate structure and strategy for assigned market segments.
To establish and maintain effective working relations both within the department and with other departments.
To attend select trade and travel functions, i.e. trade shows and to promote sales and image for the hotel.
To plan and where appropriate, execute sales trips to major market areas, reporting new potential markets that should be considered.
To provide feedback and market information to the Director of Sales & Marketing relating to changing market conditions, including trends in competition by carrying out sales solicitation, telephone, reading material and interacting with competitive hotel staff. Also, to analyze and review these changes with the Director of Sales & Marketing, implementing programmed with the Sales team to meet these changes in all market segments.
To maintain close relationships with all key decision-makers, both in local and international markets.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills in all aspects: verbal, written, and non-verbal.
Fluent in Arabic and English.
Professional and appropriate business appearance and presentation.
