We are looking for a Food & Beverage Service Trainee to join the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern Team!
The legendary Hotel Palace Luzern first opened in 1906 and is in the city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. After a complete renovation, the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern reopened its doors in September 2022. It comprises 136 rooms and suites offering excellent views over the lake and mountains. Three restaurants, one bar together with a variety of meeting facilities, a spa and a fitness room roundup our offer for our guests.
As a Food & Beverage Service Trainee you are responsible for the following duties:
Serving food and drinks professionally
Complying with our high quality service standards
Supporting the supervisors in their daily tasks
Booking all transactions in the cash register system and carrying out correct cash accounting
Assisting in the preparation and implementation of events
Providing the necessary Mise en Place
Setting up and cleaning the restaurant, bar and terrace areas
Complying with hygiene regulations and cleanliness within the framework of the HACCP guidelines
As a Food & Beverage Service Trainee we are looking for:

Very good knowledge of German and English. Further foreign language skills are an advantage
