About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Food and Beverage Department in Dubai, the Food & Beverage Executive assists the Director of Food & Beverage with various of secretarial and administrative tasks and maintains relevant documentation for the division in an extremely organised manner. Food & Beverage Executive reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

As a Food & Beverage Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Administrative & Organisational Responsibilities: Manage all F&B administrative tasks, maintain records, process reports, and ensure efficient filing and correspondence.
  • Communication & Coordination: Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally, manage the Director’s diary, schedule meetings, and ensure clear communication among colleagues and superiors.
  • Documentation & Reports: Prepare PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, letters, and memorandums; compile and distribute weekly and monthly F&B reports.
  • Attendance Management: Track F&B management team attendance, update vacation plans, and verify time records daily.
  • Meeting & Reservation Handling: Arrange F&B meetings, take meeting minutes, and assist with restaurant reservations and guest inquiries as needed.

As a Food & Beverage Executive, we expect from you: 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within F&B operations within a 5-star hotel is preferred.
  • Clear communication; excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and one additional language.
  • Competent computer skills including MS Office, hospitality systems or equivalent is desirable.
  • Ability to understand guest needs, deliver excellent service, work under pressure, and efficiently manage multiple tasks.
