Based at the Mandarin Oriental Corporate Office within the Group FP&A Department in Hong Kong, the Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and value‑creation reporting across the Group.
The Financial Analyst reports to the Director, Group FP&A. As Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Financial Planning & Forecasting
Consolidating hotel submissions, validating assumptions, and preparing variance analysis for the Budget and Long‑Range Plan.
Maintaining driver‑based financial models, running scenario and sensitivity analyses to assess risks and opportunities.
Value Creation Tracking
Updating value‑creation KPIs and tracking models, summarising progress, risks and opportunities for senior management.
Reporting, Insights & Automation
Preparing KPI reports and management presentation materials.
Enhancing reporting templates and supporting automation initiatives to improve efficiency and insight quality.
Market Research & Business Support
Conducting targeted market and competitor research to support planning assumptions.
Providing analytical support to Operations Finance and other corporate teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency of financial inputs.
As Financial Analyst, we expect from you:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
2–4 years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance (hospitality experience an advantage).
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; familiarity with VBA, Power BI, Hyperion or other planning tools preferred.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and structured problem‑solving.
Clear communication skills with the ability to explain insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
Ability to work under tight planning timelines and manage multiple priorities.
