About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Downtown, Dubai within the Food and Beverage Service section of our Greek Restaurant in Dubai, the F&B Supervisor, oversees all operational aspects of the shift, ensuring service excellence, upholding the highest standards, and delighting each guest. You will mentor and lead a dedicated team, embody our brand values, and act as an ambassador for both the restaurant and the hotel. F&B Supervisor reports to the F&B Assistant Manager

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Lead Service Operations - Supervise daily outlet operations, monitor service standards, food quality, and guest satisfaction and ensure smooth, efficient, and seamless service.
• Guest Engagement and VIP Attention - Warmly welcome guests, proactively respond to inquiries, and personally follow through on VIP arrangements to create MOwow moments.
• Team Development and Training - Train, coach, and mentor staff on menu knowledge, service techniques, and hotel policies; identify learning needs and support ongoing colleague development.
• Quality and Compliance Management - Uphold and comply with all health, food safety, and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies, HACCP requirements, including those mandated by UAE Municipality; conduct regular inspections and maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Point-of-Sale Oversight - Support the team by regularly auditing POS accuracy, menu presentation, and ensuring up-to-date, pristine menu materials.
• Continuous Improvement - Gather guest feedback, comment cards, and incident reports;

As a Food and Beverage Supervisor, we expect from you: 

• High school diploma or equivalent; Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management is an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience in a high-volume, 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant environment
• Strong understanding of Greek cuisine concepts and ability to train team members effectively
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal & written); knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Proven leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
