About the job

Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Banqueting Department in Hong Kong, the Food & Beverage Sales Manager is responsible for coordinating with client thoroughly to ensure that expectation is exceeded for all reservations and events. Be the “single unit coordinator” for the clients and guests. In charge of The Private Room by Amber, F&B events on or off property, F&B Marketing, F&B sales initiative, and CRM. The Food & Beverage Sales Manager reports to the Food & Beverage Manager.

 

As Food & Beverage Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee Food & Beverage Events and Function’s sales and organisation.
  • Drive revenue generating initiatives for F&B.
  • Develop the F&B business by building relationships with new account.
  • Prepare sales related reports to analyse the profitability of F&B Division.
  • Maintain a well-organised filing system of files.
  • Build relationships with guests patronising the F&B, while giving presence at certain peak hours of service.
  • Oversee the reservation processes and systems for the F&B outlets.
  • Coordinate with Managers regarding the operations of extraordinary arrangements/commitments and to Kitchen and other relevant departments ensure smooth running of all events.
  • Perform any special projects as directed by your immediate superior.
  • To update all information and revenues in necessary systems to maintain accurate information, including all guest’s information and spending.
  • To follow up on any sales leads and revert to the client within 24 hours.
  • Meets and greets the organiser of F&B events at the beginning of the event and handle any last minute or special requests that may arise.
  • To prepare, check and issue BEOs on a timely basis and to communicate any changes via amendments sent out immediately once there are changes.

 

As Food & Beverage Sales Manager, we expect from you:

  • Degree holder in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience preferably in luxury hotel.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Self-motivated, willing to learn and able to work under pressure with tight timeline.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external guests.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua.
