About the job

Based within the Engineering in Guangzhou, the Engineering Supervisor is responsible for assisting maintaining and supervising the hotel’s building services and life safety plant and equipment of your responsible area to ensure that the outstanding quality of service provided to guests and colleagues is achieved, according to the hotel and MOHG Hotels business objectives.  The Engineering Supervisor reports to the Duty Engineer.

As Engineering Supervisor, you will responsible for the following duties:

• To ensure through continuously physically checking all areas within the Hotel and all aspects of the Engineering services and implementation of standard procedures the highest standard of maintenance is achieved.
• To ensure all logbooks, record sheets and diary of events are correctly completed and kept up to date prior to finishing your shift.
• To ensure work requests that may come from the Hotel’s guests or senior management are responded to within a given time. All such requests are to be recorded along with what action is taken.
• To ensure that the Engineering Departments and Hotels policy and Procedures are always followed.
• Report any urgent matters or irregularities to the Director of Engineering or Assistant Chief Engineer, immediately.
• To review the operation of the day-to-day engineering department to ensure that staff is available and able to deliver the quality and service required achieving customer and colleague satisfaction.
• To ensure the engineering staff under your control is familiar with the in-house life safety equipment, emergency procedures and layout of the building in the event of an emergency.
• Participate in fire and emergency procedure training and any other courses that may arise to ensure the guests and colleague’s safety and satisfaction is always maintained.

As Engineering Supervisor, we expect from you:

• University or college diploma in a building services discipline.
• At least 1 year related working experience in a hotel maintenance operation or service maintenance in a similar complex.
• Good knowledge and practical skills in electrical, mechanical maintenance, A/C systems, Boilers, steam, gas, water supplies distribution and sewerage treatment plants and equipment.
• Ability to demonstrate, motivational, leadership skills, problem solving, planning and organizing, decision making, prioritizing, delegating training and developing and producing results.

关于职位

该职位位于广州文华东方酒店工程部，工程主管负责根据酒店和文华东方酒店集团的经营目标，协助维护和监督你所负责领域的酒店楼宇服务和生命安全相关的机房和设备，确保为客人和同事提供优质的服务。工程主管向值班工程师汇报。

作为工程主管，你将负责以下职责：

• 确保对酒店区域做全面、持续的实地检查，使得工程维修及标准程序实施的各方面达到最高标准。
• 确保所有值班日志、记录表格和事件日志正确完成并在下班之前更新到最新日期。
• 确保来自酒店客人和高级管理层的工作要求在给定的时间做出响应，所有类似的要求及采取的措施都一并记录下来。
• 确保任何时候都遵循工程部和酒店的政策和程序。
• 即刻报告紧急事件或违规行为给工程总监或副总监。
• 检查工程部的日常运作，确保员工可以并能够完成所需服务和质量，使客人和同事满意。
• 确保在你控制下的工程部员工，在发生紧急情况时熟悉酒店内部的生命安全系统、应急程序、建筑平面图。
• 参加消防和应急程序培训以及其他确保客人和同事安全和满意度的课程。

作为工程主管，我们期望你具备以下能力：

• 建筑服务专业的大学或学院文凭。
• 至少1年在酒店维护运营或类似综合设施的服务维护中担任担任相关工作经验。
• 在电气、机械维护、空调系统、锅炉、蒸汽、燃气、供水分配和污水处理装置和设备方面具有良好的知识和实践技能。
• 拥有展示能力、激励能力、领导能力、问题解决能力、计划和组织能力、决策能力、优先权、授权培训能力以及开发和产生结果的能力。
