About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah Riyadh within the Commercial Department in Riyadh, the Director of Sales - Government is responsible for Builds sales annual plan and associated sales activities to execute with the Sales Team to achieve sales targets and company goals. Leads and manages all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enables the achievement of property sales targets. The Director of Sales - Government reports to the Director of Commercial Strategy.

As Director of Sales - Government, you will be responsible for the following duties:

It is part of your role to understand and disseminate/communicate all corporate and hotel policies and standard operating procedures to the colleagues.

  • Work closely with the Director of Commercial Strategy to ensure understanding & alignment of government segment sales strategy and effective implementation of this strategy.
  • Ensures that all calls and sales leads are answered in a timely manner and as per company standards.
  • Supports customer loyalty and property’s brand standards by delivering service excellence.
  • Works proactively with all Regional Sales Offices.
  • Keeps up to date with market trends and utilizes all Business Intelligence reports available.

As Director of Sales - Government, we expect from you: 

Achieves financial targets and monitors progress of team’s sales objectives targets through supervision and guidance to ensure team also achieves financial targets in all revenue streams.

  • Ensures the team understand and achieves all KPIs related to the department.
  • Attend trade shows and fairs and ensures coverage in all key feeder markets.
