Duties and responsibilities:
Be responsible for maximizing revenue and profit associated primarily with rooms, but also function space or total resort revenue as required.
Be accountable for all transient, group and catering segments strategies and deployment, pricing, channel distribution, and positioning.
Identify future revenue opportunities and effectively communicate strategies to the Sales and Marketing colleagues.
Support, work, and align with the Revenue and Reservations departments and all the processes associated with them, such as demand, revenue, forecasting, inventory management, channel management and proactive opportunity analysis.
Direct the Sales team to ensure it meets the targets set in the annual marketing plan.
Attend trade shows, hotel and tourist association meetings to identify market opportunities for the resort.
Plan and where appropriate execute sales trips to key existing market areas and identify new potential market areas.
Meet and entertain all influential clients, ensuring that there is follow-up on all discussed details.
Organize and deliver familiarization site inspection trips of the resort by major clients.
Work with the Director of Revenue to direct the Reservations team in driving upselling through telephone calls, delivering high levels of customer service to call-in guests.
Work with the Sales team to ensure cohesive targeting.
Oversee the Sales and Catering departments, being responsible for the guidance and development of the entire team in each department.
Be responsible for budget, overall strategy, analysis of business trends and competition, revenue, distribution & reservations (in collaboration with Director of Revenue), sales & catering.
Formulate and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to elevate the brand and drive business growth.
Lead and mentor a team of marketing and communications professionals, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and measuring the ROI of initiatives.
Cultivate relationships with media, influencers, and industry partners to boost brand visibility and reputation.
Leverage market research and guest data to refine marketing strategies and enhance engagement.
Craft and execute high-impact marketing campaigns and elevate brand prestige in the luxury market.
Develop and execute sophisticated marketing strategies that align with the business’s luxury brand identity and business objectives.
Expertly handle public relations challenges, safeguarding the brand’s reputation and addressing negative perceptions.
Guide the creation of high-end content and campaigns that captivate an affluent audience.
Manage and enhance the hotel's brand image, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
Maintain an elegant and polished communication style suited for high-net-worth individuals and luxury brand stakeholders.
Stay ahead of industry trends and embrace new strategies to distinguish the resort in a competitive market.
Requirements:
Minimum 5-years of experience in the position within the luxury hospitality industry.
Advanced degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related fields is advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of the ultra-luxury market, including trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, CRM systems, and data analytics.
Proficient in overseeing various operational aspects within a multifaceted resort complex.
