Be part of the exclusive team hosting Mayfair’s newest and most exciting dining destination. As Director of Hospitality at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London you will play an integral part in facilitating an experience like London has never known. You will be the face of the Food and Beverage offerings, overseen by Michelin Starred Chef Akira Back, from our all-day dining Akira Back restaurant; ABar Lounge, fine-dining 14 seat DOSA and soon to be opened Rooftop.

The contribution of your leadership will guide the team through the successful operations and create an unforgettable atmosphere and experience for our guests and residents.

With over 20 restaurants worldwide, Michelin Starred Chef Akira Back has gathered success and notoriety for being at the forefront of culinary innovation and artistry.

Sharpen your skills and learn invaluable new ones as you transcend hospitality in seamless fashion and lively interactions.

As Director of Hospitality you will need to:

    • Understand the Mayfair Food & Beverage scene, and work at creating an unforgettable experience for our guests
    • To meet and greet guests in a professional and efficient manner.          
    • To recognise and acknowledge guests and encourage return visit.
    • To be visible and recognisable for all guests.
    • To liaise with guests and ensure their preferences are accommodated.
    • To monitor the Total Training Concept and employee development in order to promote a climate of enthusiasm and encouragement.
    • To assist in implementing Legendary Quality Standards throughout the Restaurant / Bars/ Fine Dining outlets.
    • To ensure Hostess/Host and F&B guest relation agents have the full ability to use Seven Rooms.
    • Excellent knowledge of the various bookings’ platforms used in London.
