Digital Marketing Executive

About the job

Based Mandarin Oriental Jakarta, the Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for but not limited to, supporting and executing the hotel’s digital marketing initiatives. This role plays a key part in enhancing the hotel’s online presence, driving engagement across digital channels, and ensuring brand consistency in alignment with MOHG’s values and positioning. The Digital Marketing Executive reports to the Marketing Communications Manager.

As Digital Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Digital Marketing Operations

  • Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (including Meta, Google, and email).
  • Update and maintain website content and ensure accuracy in alignment with brand standards.
  • Coordinate with regional and corporate teams for digital initiatives, SEO optimization, and analytics tracking.
  • Support paid media campaigns, including budgeting, scheduling, and performance reporting.
  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and guest feedback on various digital platforms.

Content & Asset Management

  • Maintain a digital content library, including photography, video, and design assets.
  • Ensure consistent visual and message alignment across all digital channels.
  • Assist in creating social media content calendars and coordinating content production with photographers, videographers, and designers.
  • Update and maintain e-newsletter databases and ensure timely distribution.

Data & Reporting

  • Compile monthly reports on digital performance metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign ROI.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve digital strategies based on analytics data.
  • Assist in tracking online advertising expenses and verifying invoices.

Coordination & Administrative Support

  • Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, F&B, Spa) to promote hotel offerings digitally.
  • Liaise with external agencies and suppliers for advertising, design, and media-related tasks.
  • Support departmental administrative duties such as preparing purchase requests, maintaining budget trackers, and organizing files.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by the department head.

As Digital Marketing Executive, we expect from you:

  • Degree in Marketing Communications or Digital Marketing preferred but not required
  • Minimum 1-year working experience in a 5 star hotel preferred
  • Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and other relevant digital platforms and tools.
  • Familiarity with CMS (Content Management System) platforms and basic HTML is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of visual storytelling, copywriting, and brand consistency across digital channels
  • Ability to analyze digital performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Good command of English
  • Knowledge of the luxury hospitality industry and competitor landscape preferred
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content strategy
