About the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, the Curator is responsible for delivering personalised and seamless service to guests. Including overseeing daily operations, coordinating guest request and maintaining high service standards. The position reports directly to the Haus 65 Manager.
As Curator, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Excels in delivering Legendary Quality Experience to all guests.
Supports the food and beverage and rooms operations at the club lounge.
Reviews arrivals and ensures preferences and needs are met.
Meets and greets guests into their assigned room ensuring that all services are extended promptly and efficiently.
Offers welcome refreshment, packing and unpacking, laundry, shoe-shine services and all other guests’ needs and requests.
Provides recommendation for wine and dine, entertainment, tourist attractions, concierge services and information.
Curates MOWOW experiences for guests, resolves guest feedback, serves daily amenities.
Cooperates closely with the in-room dining and housekeeping team to ensure a seamless private dining and cleaning experience.
Acts as a link for guests with all other areas of the hotel. Promptly answers any guest calls and emails and communicates with respective departments.
Addresses any security incidents and complaints to the Head Butler and reacts proactively when suitable and appropriate.
Familiar with room amenities, layout of categories of rooms, facilities and services available in the hotel.
Promotes and upsells a higher category of room and hotel food and beverage outlets.
Offers assistance for departure arrangements and provides fond farewell.
Maintains a friendly rapport with all guests to ensure repeat business and goodwill.
Well-versed with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group goals and information.
As Curator, we expect from you:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Business/Hospitality/Tourism/Hotel Management or equivalent.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoys interacting with guests and working in a fast paced environment
Candidate must be able to work rotationary shifts, weekends and holidays
