About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Kitchen Department in Milan, the Chef de Partie is responsible for the quality of the food and the colleagues. The Chef de Partie reports to the Executive Sous Chef.

 

As Chef de Partie, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • To work as part of a team in a constructive manner that enables the hotel to achieve the objective of being a market leader in the luxury hotel sector
  • To maintain a high standard of specified work in accordance with the Executive Chef
  • Be responsible for checking the quality of all food production in the kitchen and maintaining the highest standard achievable
  • Ensure adherence to the hotel’s Food Safety and Health & Safety policies at all times
  • Perform other duties as required by the department head from time to time

 

As Chef de Partie we expect from you: 

  • Globally-recognized culinary qualification
  • Hard working
  • Good team leader
  • Good Motivator of staff
  • This job includes flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
  • 3-5 years of hotel experience & supervisory experience
