About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok within the Front Office Department, the Concierge provides exceptional service and assistance to ensure a memorable stay. This role involves handling guest inquiries, making reservations, offering local recommendations, and coordinating various services. The reports directly to the Chief Concierge.
Responsibilities:
- To handle all guests’ requests, information, and messages.
- To handle flight details, accommodation in the upcountry, and other services as requested.
- To check guests’ names before handing keys to them.
- To handle e-mail faxes and distribute outgoing documents to guests by delivering them to the room.
- To provide information and to advise guests about sightseeing and directions.
- To handle mail, messages, and parcels for guests in-house and on arrival.
- To make restaurants, golf courses, Spa, and flight reservations.
- To provide shoes, eyeglasses, and luggage repair services.
- To fulfils postal services and coordinate with post office officers about postal facilities in the hotel.
As Concierge, we expect you to have:
- At least 3 years of experience in a luxury establishment or luxury retail in a similar role.
- Fluency in English and Thai.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to handle challenging tasks and situations effectively.
- A results-oriented approach, with strong attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and motivation
