About the job

It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will assist the assistant Pastry Chef/Pastry chef in all matters of the Management and Leadership of the Pastry Kitchen and ensures smooth running of food production operations and maintain standards within budget and culinary areas. As Chef de Partie Pastry, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • Preparing Pastries & Desserts: Make cakes, pastries, breads, and other desserts to the highest standards.
  • Kitchen Organization: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and ensure ingredients are stocked.
  • Team Support: Supervise and train pastry colleague.
  • Menu Development: Help create new pastry items and contribute to seasonal menus.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all pastries meet quality standards before serving.
  • Health & Safety: Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.

As Chef de Partie Pastry, we expect from you:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Two year degree or Apprenticeship
  • Up to Date Sanitation Classes
  • Minimum of 2 years in the luxury hotel culinary business.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie (Pastry Kitchen).
  • Skills needed include experience in pastry, good organizational and leadership abilities, and a passion for creating desserts.
