As a Chef de Partie on the night shift in the In-Room Dining department, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for guests ordering room service overnight. You will work independently to maintain quality and efficiency in the kitchen during the night hours, ensuring all dishes meet our standards of taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present dishes for in-room dining during the night shift, ensuring high quality and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen throughout the night, following all food safety and hygiene standards.
Monitor and manage stock levels for the night shift, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Work independently to manage the kitchen operations during the night shift, addressing any issues or guest requests promptly.
Assist in menu planning and development of night-specific dishes or offerings.
Train and mentor any junior or new night shift kitchen staff as needed.
Collaborate with the in-room dining service team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of overnight orders.
Maintain accurate records of night shift kitchen operations and report any incidents or issues to the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School qualification or equivalent.
Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality/Culinary arts is preferred.
Experience as Chef de Partie in a high-volume restaurant with highest levels of service is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a 5-star hotel or free-standing restaurant environment
International work experience in at least two of the following regions: Asia, Europe, North America and preferably Middle East.
Hotel pre-opening or renovation experience is preferred.
Solid Knowledge in preparing, cooking, presenting dishes.
