Mandarin Oriental is looking for a Brand Identity Manager to join our Brand team.

Are you a master of craft? Do you thrive in a team that succeeds together, demonstrating integrity and respect while acting responsibly? Do you embrace a growth mindset? We invite you to become a fan of the exceptional.

Mandarin Oriental is the award‑winning owner and operator of some of the most luxurious hotels, resorts and residences located in prime destinations around the world, with a strong development pipeline. Increasingly recognised for creating some of the world’s most sought‑after properties, the Group provides legendary service inspired by Asian heritage whilst representing the very cutting‑edge of luxury experiences.

About the job

Based at the Corporate Office in Hong Kong - within the Brand team, the Brand Identity Manager plays a key role in shaping how the Mandarin Oriental brand is experienced across our hotels and touchpoints around the world. The focus is on ensuring our brand identity feels consistent, considered and true to the luxury brand standards that define us.

This is a hands-on role that calls for someone with a sharp eye for detail and an intuitive understanding of refined, premium brand experiences — someone who moves easily between creative exploration, problem solving and practical execution. You’ll enjoy working closely with colleagues, hotels, and creative partners.

Individuals who have grown within environments that value design craft — such as creative agencies or brand-driven hospitality or lifestyle settings — often thrive here. A sensitivity to cultural nuance and the ability to collaborate fluidly across time zones will help you navigate our global landscape with confidence.

As Brand Identity Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • You will help guide the application and evolution of our visual identity system, reviewing materials with a careful eye and supporting stakeholders in using the brand thoughtfully and accurately.

  • Working as part of a global team, you’ll support hotel openings and brand initiatives by coordinating brand identity requirements, managing artwork development and ensuing each rollout is smooth and well-paced across regions.

  • As a guardian of brand quality, you’ll oversee elements of production — liaising with vendors, reviewing samples and coordinating global distribution where needed.

  • You will also contribute to the development of branded items and touchpoints, upholding clarity, accuracy, and consistency across every market.

  • Your work will include helping manage budgets, quotations, and cross-regional vendor coordination, always with an organised, composed approach.

As Brand Identity Manager, we expect from you:

  • A strong understanding of brand identity, general design principles and refined brand expression.

  • Experience driving creative production workflows within a brand-driven environment.

  • Several years of hands-on experience paired with a growth mindset — comfortable with evolving tools and technology, and an eagerness to keep learning and refining your craft.

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with composure.

  • Collaborative in approach, building trust with colleagues, creative partners, and suppliers.

  • Confidence communicating in both English and Chinese enables you to work fluidly across our global network.

  • Comfortable partnering with global teams across regions and time zones, with sensitivity to cultural nuance.

Our commitment to you:

  • Learning & Development. Your success is our success. We craft unique learning and development programmes for various stages in your career so that you grow, continuously.

  • MOstay. When you work as hard as our colleagues do, it’s important to take time off. As a member of the #MOfamily, you can stay with us wherever you go in the world. The MOstay programme offers complimentary nights and additionally attractive rates on rooms for you and your loved ones.
