About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within The Man Wah Kitchen in Hong Kong, the BBQ No. 4 is responsible to ensure sufficient and high quality food is prepared and displayed as mandated by the Executive Chinese Chef in order to acquire maximum customer satisfaction and profitability. BBQ No. 4 reports to the BBQ No. 1.

As BBQ No. 4, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for BBQ food including the banquet, daily ingredients pick-up and operation

• Assist in the organization of cleaning work, refrigerator, snow room, shelf, personal and work area clean and tidy

• Responsible for the daily production of the BBQ section to ensure that it reaches the standard level

• All products must be tasted frequently and pay attention to the food presentation

As BBQ No. 4, we expect from you:

• 5 to 8 years relevant experience in Chinese Restaurant;

• Self-motivated and responsible;

• Independent and able to work under pressure.
