As a Assistant Spa and Fitness Manager you will assist in overseeing daily spa and fitness center operations to ensure a smooth guest experience. Supervise, train, and motivate staff, including therapists, trainers, and front-desk personnel. Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for peak times and special events. Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Spa and Fitness Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff, including therapists, personal trainers, and front-desk personnel.
- Manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage during peak times and special events.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism across the spa and fitness center.
- Monitor guest feedback and address any concerns to ensure satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Assist in managing the inventory of products, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Promote the spa and fitness services through marketing initiatives and member engagement activities.
- Help create and implement new programs and services tailored to the guests' needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that aligns with the company’s core values.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a spa, fitness, or wellness-related role is essential, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of spa treatments, wellness practices, and fitness management.
- Certification in health and fitness management, personal training, or similar is a plus.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
