Assistant Resort Manager Intern - Season 2025

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Operate the guest service properly, efficiently and with profitability 

  • Support the Resort Manager ensuring that Legendary Quality Standards, policies and procedures of Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como are properly understood and followed 

  • Support the Resort Manager maintaining a very high standard of behavior and grooming 

  • Ensure accurate and prompt communication of information and guests' requests to all relevant departments 

  • Support all guests' complaints and specific guests’ requests by cooperating with all departments 

  • Greet and escort guests to their rooms if needed 

  • Provide prompt assistance to guests in the lobby and Front Office area 

  • Provide high quality service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout the guests' experience 

  • Supervise guests’ incoming and outgoing correspondence 

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Resort Manager 

 

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Full proficiency in English and Italian; an additional language is preferred 

  • Problem-solving and team-work skills 

  • Must be flexible and able to work on weekends and holidays, if needed 

  • Must be discrete and have a professional appearance and behavior 

  • Strong computer and IT literacy 

  • An experience in a similar position within a luxury environment is considered a plus
