Duties and responsibilities:
Operate the guest service properly, efficiently and with profitability
Support the Resort Manager ensuring that Legendary Quality Standards, policies and procedures of Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como are properly understood and followed
Support the Resort Manager maintaining a very high standard of behavior and grooming
Ensure accurate and prompt communication of information and guests' requests to all relevant departments
Support all guests' complaints and specific guests’ requests by cooperating with all departments
Greet and escort guests to their rooms if needed
Provide prompt assistance to guests in the lobby and Front Office area
Provide high quality service by responding to requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out, and throughout the guests' experience
Supervise guests’ incoming and outgoing correspondence
Perform any other reasonable duties as required by the Resort Manager
Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Full proficiency in English and Italian; an additional language is preferred
Problem-solving and team-work skills
Must be flexible and able to work on weekends and holidays, if needed
Must be discrete and have a professional appearance and behavior
Strong computer and IT literacy
An experience in a similar position within a luxury environment is considered a plus
