About the job 

Based at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong within Sales & Marketing in Hong Kong, the Assistant Director of Sales is responsible for generating rooms business from existing and potential corporate accounts, co-ordinating customer requirements with other departments in order to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and profitability for both Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and The Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. The Assistant Director of Sales reports to the Director of Sales.

As Assistant Director of Sale, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for meeting the revenue goal on premium partners

• Conduct regular account reviews on production of premium partners and develop strategies to increase market penetration

• Execute sales action plans, attend luxury trade shows and organize familiarization site inspection trips

• Establish business relationship and maintain high level of exposure for the hotel in the major marketing areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone and written communications

• Contribute to the marketing plan on strategy and goal setting

As Assistant Director of Sales, we expect from you:

• Degree holder in Business Management, Hospitality Management or relevant discipline

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in hospitality industry, with at least 2 years of experience in managerial position

• Proficient in written and spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua

• Strong interpersonal skills, presentation skills and sales prospecting skill

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both internal and external guests

• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight time line
