About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, London within the Sales & Marketing Department, the Assistant Director of Sales - Entertainment Sales & Luxury Brands is responsible for overseeing the Sales strategy for the hotel and residences. 

As an Assistant Director of Sales - Entertainment Sales & Luxury Brands at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • To effectively manage a portfolio of key accounts through planned sales activities, maximising account potential in terms of rate or room-nights in accordance with overall sales strategies.
  • To focus on the growth and continued production of existing Entertainment accounts both domestic and international and to develop new Entertainment accounts that are suitable for the budgeted pricing strategy.
  • To develop and maintain an accurate database of all assigned Group and Event accounts related to the luxury brand sector
  • Responsible for the development of business from (but not exclusively) the following market segments: film, music, PR companies, production companies & luxury goods
  • To plan and execute overseas sales trips within assigned territories and market segments, to participate in tradeshows and workshops as required.
  • To host site inspections and familiarisation trips as needed.
