Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated seasoned Assistant Director of Finance to assist the Director of Finance in managing and coaching the team of Finance and Accounting specialists
As Director of Finance, you will be responsible for the following duties:
To conduct and control all financial controls and accounting procedures based upon a maximization of internal and control techniques consistent with MOHG established policy and general accepted accounting principles.
To conduct, control and supervise personnel of General Accounting.
To compile all budgets and forecast covering all activities of the hotel in conjunction with the Controller and Department Heads.
To maintain all budget control procedures.
To be responsible for all financial reports.
To verify payment vouchers and petty cash vouchers.
To compile and complete fiscal budgeting package.
To compile and complete 3 years projections package.
To take part in marketing plan package according to financial information.
To prepare consolidated accounting package for year-end results.
To coordinate with external auditors for quarterly financial reports to Stock Exchange of Thailand.
To update full year forecast of Profit & Loss and Cashflow status.
To be responsible for paying correct taxes (VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax, signboard tax, property tax, etc.)
To keep Controller informed of any problems which may be required the company’s auditor or legal advice.
To conduct the return on investment analysis of new project.
Other related duties as assigned by Director of Finance.
As Director of Finance, we expect from you:
At least 3 years of experience in a luxury establishment in a similar role.
Excellent presentation and proactive communication skills in both verbal and written in English and Thai.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or economics is necessary.
Ability to handle challenging tasks and situations.
Timeline focused and organized.
Positive and motivated to take the department to the next level.
Detail-oriented.
